Welcome to my website. Here you will find all sorts of information about my work as a School Counselor. School counselors are the glue of the school, the oil in the machine, the thread to the beautifully diverse quilt.  We use data to advocate for all students, teachers, and families. We connect students and families to resources, assist teachers, foster a positive school climate and provide encouragement and support throughout their academic and personal journey. I provide individual, small group, and classroom guidance lessons focusing on academic, personal/social, and college and career readiness. Take a look around and explore.

ABOUT ME
Hello Owls!
I am excited to be a part of your community. I grew up in Milpitas, California and graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Child and Adolescent Development. I moved from Portland, Oregon in September of last year. I have been a school counselor since I graduated from Lewis and Clark in 2017. I enjoy reading, playing board games, swimming, cooking, singing, and swing dancing. I am a school counselor because I have a heart to serve, a passion for equity, and a strong belief that all students can succeed when their needs are addressed. I want to encourage, support, and assist students throughout their academic experience so they can become successful and confident in the goals they pursue.
