ZONES OF REGULATION

Eastwood uses the zones of regulation to help students understand their feelings and learn to regulate their emotions.  There are no "bad" zones.  All zones and feelings are okay.  We talk about how to move from one zone to another in order to be more successful at school.

COLLABORATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING

We believe that kids do well if they can.  When students act out instead of casting blame or judgement we seek to understand that behavior and help them to find a more productive way to fill that need.  Collaborative Problem Solving has adults and children work together to find a solution.  Our mission is to help children gain skills they are lacking so that they can be successful not only at Eastwood, but as global citizens.
